- ) Return your completed ballot to receive your swag and be eligible to enter the grand prize draw
- ) Attend the Zone Learning Pizza Party on September 13 where the grand prize draw winner will be announced

To This Zone Learning Passport Challenge (the “Contest”) is open to all current Ryerson University (“Ryerson”) full time and part time students, except students currently enrolled in Zone Learning programs at Ryerson. This Contest is being administered by the Zone Learning Office (the “Contest Sponsor”) and is open for entries on September 6, 2017, between 12pm and 4pm (the “Entry Period”). There are two (2) stages to the Contest (as described below). There are two types of prizes available in the Contest (each a “Prize”): (i) the stage 1 Prize consist of a swag bag valued at $50 (the “Stage 1 Prize”), (ii) the stage 2 Prize consists of two concert tickets to see Jay Z at the Air Canada Centre on November 22, 2017, valued at $398.54 (the “Grand Prize”). There is a maximum of 200 Stage 1 Prizes available to be won. There is a maximum of one (1) Grand Prize available to be won, provided that entrance rules are followed. Each entrant is eligible to win a maximum of one (1) Prize at each stage of the Contest. The odds of winning the Grand Prize are dependent on the number of valid entries.
To enter the Contest, entrants must obtain a Zone Learning Passport Challenge ballot (“Zone Passport”) at the Zone Learning booth on Gould Street, Toronto, Ontario (the “Booth”), on September 6, 2017, between the hours of 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm. The Zone Passport lists five (5) participating Ryerson University Zones: Clean Energy Zone, Design Fabrication Zone, Fashion Zone, Science Discovery Zone, Social Ventures Zone (collectively “Zones” and each a “Zone”). During Stage 1 of the Contest, entrants are required to visit four (4) of the five (5) Zones during the Entry Period and complete a mystery challenge at each Zone. Entrants will receive one (1) Zone Passport stamp for each successful completion of the mystery challenge at each Zone visited. Each entrant who collects four (4) Zone Passport stamps will be eligible to receive one (1) Stage 1 Prize. Each entrant who submits their completed Zone Passport to the Booth on September 6, 2017, between the hours of 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm, will receive a one (1) Stage 1 Prize (subject to availability of Stage 1 Prizes at the Booth) and be eligible to enter into Stage 2 of the Contest. Entrants must successfully complete Stage 1 of the Contest to be eligible to participate in Stage 2 of the Contest. To enter Stage 2 of the Contest, entrants must insert their completed Zone Passport into the ballot box located at the Booth before 4:00 pm on September 6, 2017.
On or about September 13, 2017, at 4:00pm in Toronto, Ontario, a representative of the Contest Sponsor will select one completed Zone Passport via random draw as the potential winner from all eligible Stage 2 Contest entries received during the Contest Entry Period. A representative of the Contest Sponsor will announce the potential winner of the Grand Prize at the Zone Learning Pizza Party (“Draw Event”) at “the Sandbox” (Ryerson University Student Learning Centre (SLC), 341 Yonge St, 3rd floor – Suite 312, Toronto, ON M5B 1S1). If the potential winner is not present at the Draw Event, the Contest Sponsor will make a maximum of three (3) attempts to contact the selected entrant by telephone or email (using only the information provided in the Zone Passport) within five (5) business days of the draw date. If the selected entrant cannot be contacted within five (5) business days of the end of the draw date, or if there is a return of any notification as undeliverable, then that selected entrant will be disqualified and will forfeit all rights to the Grand Prize and the Contest Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion, to select an alternate potential winner via random draw (in which case the foregoing provisions of this section will apply to such alternate selected entrant). If no selected entrants can be reached by November 22, 2017, the Contest Sponsor reserves the right to cancel Stage 2 of the Contest without awarding the Grand Prize to any entrant. Before a selected entrant is declared as the Grand Prize winner (after declaration, referred to as a “Winner”), the selected entrant must sign and return, within two (2) business days of notification, a declaration of compliance and release of liability prepared by the Contest Sponsor (the “Release”).
Entrants may submit only one (1) Zone Passport during the Entry Period. If an entrant submits more than one (1) Zone Passport during the Entry Period, the entrant will be disqualified from the Contest and forfeits all rights to the Stage 1 Prize and the Grand Prize.
