Knowledge Drop: Athlete Brand Management
Red Bull athletes aren’t your typical professional sports athletes, they are daredevils and thrill seekers. For example, Nouria Newman is a master of multiple sports including canoe, freestyle and extreme kayaking. As a multi-sport athlete that is not constantly showcased in the mainstreams of ESPN and Sportsnet, it is difficult enough to garner attention but what if you are their brand manager?
In this event, Red Bull athlete brand managers will share their insights on the industry and what it is like to manage extreme athletes. They will speak on topics such as online presence development, creating unique sponsorship models, and the importance of thinking outside the box. These managers are essential to the development of the athletes and the potential impact they can create through personal stories of the athletes.
