On December 9th, the top social ventures from Ryerson’s Zones pitched their innovative companies for a top prize of $25,000! A total of 8 teams were chosen to pitch out of 44 applications!

All companies were great at pitching their innovative companies and 3 companies took home runner-up prizes and one team took home the top prize. Congrats to Access Now (view Vice interview, here), Ulula, and Growing North from the SVZ for taking home $10,000 and Rumie for taking home the top prize of $25,000.

The pitch competition was for social impact businesses across the Ryerson community. Presented by OVPRI and the SocialVentures Zone and funded by RECODE.
